Nau mai, tauti mai, whakatau mai.

Welcome!

Tēnā koutou and welcome to the Anglican Diocese of Dunedin’s website. The Diocese of Dunedin covers the provinces of Otago and Southland in the lower South Island of New Zealand. It includes around thirty parishes as well as social service agencies in Dunedin and Invercargill, rest homes, a psycho-geriatric hospital, a girls’ school and a University hall of residence.

We see ourselves as Responding to God’s Call in Otago and Southland: Faith Communities reading the Bible, praying, living out the life of Jesus Christ.

We hope you enjoy this website – you are welcome to join us in person or virtually as we seek to follow Jesus Christ.

Lent and Easter 2024

All of us can be so distracted by everything going on in the lead up to Easter, including buns, eggs and bunnies: we provide opportunities to refocus and hear the real message of God’s love for our world in 2024.
