The Interchurch Council for Hospital Chaplaincy (ICHC) comprises a broad composition of Churches. We are committed to promoting, maintaining and developing, relevant, flexible, and competent chaplaincy services within the Aotearoa New Zealand healthcare environment. Our Chaplains stand alongside other healthcare professionals in the hospital setting. Clients are at liberty to access the spiritual care of their choice as is required.  Our Chaplains act as facilitator of that process.

ICHC is currently amid a period of stimulating change where we are lifting our strategic capability and level of professionalism, while retaining our core values and partnership with Churches.  One of the fresh key roles we require is a full time Funding Manager who will build on and extend the scope of work undertaken by our Fundraiser.

We are looking for someone sympathetic to our vision who can continue managing our current commitments to Churches, individual donors, District Health Boards (DHBs) and Community Trusts. Equally, you will innovate fresh thinking into our funding strategy, including partnering with business interested in social responsibility.

Working with the National Manager, you will lead and then implement a professional funding strategy for the organisation by building strong relationships with funding stakeholders. This is a key position within the organisation and the appointee will be a critical part of ICHC’s Leadership Team.

For a detailed job description and then to apply for this role please email . Along with your CV, include a detailed covering letter outlining your interest in the role by close of business,
30 November 2017.
