Christians Against Poverty (CAP) partners with churches across New Zealand, bringing hope to people in their community who are living in poverty – caused by debt, unemployment, life-controlling habits, or the burden of living on a low income.
On Social Services Sunday, a CAP Speaker can come to your church and inspire them - collectively, about what they can do to reach into the community, and individually, on how God can use them.
They’ll share testimonies with your congregation, of how God is using CAP and the local church to reach the lost.
And they will share from scripture, showing how we can all follow Jesus’ example of practically helping others, while sharing the gospel.
Christians Against Poverty is delighted to offer a CAP Speaker (free of charge) to all churches in the Wellington/Manawatu diocese.
Last year over 100 churches, including X Anglican hosted a CAP Speaker – why don’t you join them this year?

P.S. Social Services Sunday 2016 was the CAP Speaker Team’s busiest date last year – so be sure to get in touch with them soon, if you’d like a CAP Speaker at your church on 23 July!
