I hope this Easter finds you well and in good spirits despite dire weather predictions for much of New Zealand from Cyclone Cook.  This Easter edition of our newsletter has the theme of creativity; from the Good Friday reflection by the late Etta Kumar; through to Kaye Dyers story about developing and celebrating the creative ways to equip women for mission and ministry; Eleanor Lane’s creations of beautiful stoles; and Ruth Hammond listening to that voice that told her to get up and write.  Of course, the theme of creativity was never planned but each of our contributors this month has listened to their inner voice and that reflection has led them to create some beautiful things to share with you all this Easter. The standing invitation remains for publishing a story, poem, reflection or article in our newsletter. The AWSC newsletter is also a good method for promoting any books that Anglican women have written or featured in or promote other regional Anglican events and stories that are of interest to Anglican women or honour those in ministry who have passed away.

Back issues of our newsletter are available on our General Synod webpage on www.anglican.org.nz
