Full Time Enabler Vacancy – Auckland Diocese

There is a vacancy for a full time Enabler to be part of the Auckland Diocesan Enabling Team. The person will need to have a good understanding of the theology and practice of Local Shared Ministry.  An ability to facilitate a team and encourage people in ministry as well as function as part of a team yourself will be important.  A willingness to travel within the Diocese, and good time management skills are also necessary.

It is expected that the candidate will have completed (or will do so in the first few months) the Diocesan Enabler training course, and continuing professional development is required.

The appointment will commence on 1st July 2016 and is for one year to cover maternity leave.

A housing allowance will be paid along with the stipend.  The places that the appointment will cover are mainly in the Bay of Islands area, namely Russell, Kerikeri, Paihia, and Kawakawa, and also Bream Bay further south.
