Parish of Northland-Wilton: Part Time Priest Vacancy – Closes 7 December
Are you a priest who would like to help an inner city parish to grow in spirituality, community and caring?
St Anne’s Parish in Northland, Wellington is seeking a part-time (up to 0.7FTE) priest to serve with us in achieving our goals and giving life to our vision of being the church at the heart of our community.
We have two services on Sunday morning and Messy Church on the third Sunday of the month. While our worship is generally traditional, we are keen to try new approaches to services and worship on a regular basis to encourage more families.
We support community focused activities such as our Monthly Friday pot luck dinner, Monthly Blokes breakfast, and annual church fair and we contribute to the work of the Wellington City Mission as well as inviting the toy library, an after-school childcare and holiday programme, pilates classes, music classes and a singing group to use our premises.
Northland is close to the city, three schools and the university. It is an attractive place to live and work.
If you feel this is a ministry to which you are being called we will be delighted to hear from you.
For more information about the Parish, please email the Bishop’s Executive Assistant Rebecca Apperley on for a copy of our prospectus.
