‘Is it too late? Doing theology in the Anthropocene’
Associate Professor Clive Pearson, (United Theological College, Charles Sturt University)
Wednesday 16th December,
R7N10, Richardson Building
Clive Pearson’s theological interests are in cross-cultural, diasporic, ecological and public theologies. For more than 15 years, he has been exploring the conversation between these
kind of theologies and a systematic theology. The seminar will address challenges to theologies raised by ‘the Anthropecene’, as the epoch that begins when human activities started to have a significant global impact on Earth’s ecosystems.
Also, we have a number of podcasts from recent events that have now been made available online. Visit our website at http://www.otago.ac.nz/ctpi/index.html and click on ‘Resources’ on the left-hand menu, and then ‘Podcasts’ to be taken to the list.
