In recent times, the Anglican Missions Board has co-ordinated Common Life Missions Conferences (CLMC) on behalf of our Provincial Church. These conferences are a celebration of Mission, calling together Church and Mission people from our Province and from across the globe.The primary focus for CLMC2015 will be the Anglican Consultative Council’s Statement of Mission now incorporated into the Constitution of our Province, but also a uniting feature of the World-wide Anglican Communion.There will be up to 50 workshops focusing on different aspects of the 5 Marks of Mission facilitated, by presenters from all over the world and Mission Partners serving in different parts of the globe.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: The Keynote Speaker is Rev Dr Chris Wright, International Ministries Director, Langham Partnership.

Chris Wright was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and was nurtured as an Irish Presbyterian. He studied at Cambridge and started his career as a schoolteacher. After completing a doctorate in Old Testament economic ethics at Cambridge, he was ordained in the Anglican Church of England in 1977 and served as an assistant pastor in the Parish Church of St. Peter & St. Paul, Tonbridge, Kent.

A son of missionary parents, he started his missionary work in 1983 when he took his family to India, as a mission partner, and taught at BD and MTh levels at the Union Biblical Seminary (UBS), Pune for five years.

Chris took on the leadership of Langham Partnership as International Director in 2001, at the invitation of John Stott (the founder).

In addition, to his primary role in the leadership of Langham Partnership, he held various positions including, Chair of Lausanne Theology Working Group (2005 – 2011), Chair of the Statement Working Group at the Third Lausanne Congress in Cape Town (2010), Chief Architect of The Cape Town Commitment. After ten years leading the Theological Resource Team of Tear Fund, he has laid that down, but continues as one of the panel of honorary Vice-Presidents of Tear Fund.

Chris and his wife Liz belong to All Souls Church, Langham Place, London.
